”Moreover thou shalt make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work shalt thou make them. The length of one curtain shall be eight and twenty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and every one of the curtains shall have one measure.“ Exodus 26:1-2 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/exo.26.1-2.kjv

God cares about the details. In fact, God is intentional about the details, especially of his place of encounter. The Bible reading today is an excerpt of the very detailed instruction that Moses received about the tabernacle that he was building as a place of encounter. God is still very concerned about the details of his encounter with us. The Bible tells us that we should guard our hearts with all diligence because out of it proceeds the issues of life. The Bible also asks a question that don’t we know that our body is the temple of the living God. If he must dwell in us and with us then the specs must be right. We are told in the Bible that the foundation of the Lord stands firm with the seal that he knows those that are his and so everyone that calls God’s name should depart from iniquity. So, the question for you today is: Is your meeting place built and maintained to spec? Recall that when God’s presence fills a place, glory is inevitable. So it is in our best interest to make our hearts acceptable for God’s fellowship.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you because you are mindful of the details of my life. Lord, please open my eyes and help me know the areas of my life that needs to be adjusted so that you can fellowship continually with me and transform my life with the glory of your presence 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
