Our God makes something out of nothing. He did it with whole earth shaping the world that we know today from void and formlessness. In the Bible reading today, the Psalmist reminds us of how he is able to radically change a person’s status - from being poor to sitting with princes, from being barren to joyful mother of children. This is why the Bible tells us that when the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, they were like people who were dreaming.  God is able to change any despairing situation but he needs our partnership and that is why he says to come unto him all who labour and are heavy laden so that they can receive rest.  Heed the call today and lay it all His feet and you will see him coming through for you.
