Avoid His Wrath

“For the waters of Nimrim shall be desolate: for the hay is withered away, the grass faileth, there is no green thing. Therefore the abundance they have gotten, and that which they have laid up, shall they carry away to the brook of the willows.” Isaiah 15:6-7 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.15.6-7.kjv

Avoid His Wrath

When the Lord fights against a land and people, the outcomes are disastrous. In the Bible reading today, the result of God fighting against Moab the enemies of Israel was described. In addition to the direct issues with the people of the land, even their source of sustenance was destroyed. We are told that their waters were desolate and their land no longer yielded nutrients as the greenery disappeared.  Their sources of growth had been afflicted and so it was only a matter of time before all the wealth that they had accumulated disappeared. It is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the Lord. That is why when we see a land that is dwelling in iniquity, it is important that we take up a cry of warning against the land and also plead for mercy on behalf of the land so that God does not visit the land in anger.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for today. Thank you because you rule in the affairs of men and you do as it pleases you. Please Lord, we come before you to seek for mercy for our land. Let your mercy prevail over judgement and still your wrath against the land. Please heal our land in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
