The Bible tells us that when there is a casting down for others, the humble and righteous one says that there is a lifting up. In the Bible reading today, after being held captive in Israel for so many years because of the prophecies of the destruction from God that he consistently made, when the fulfillment of the promise came, Jeremiah received freedom and a blank cheque while his captors were now captured by the Babylonians as prophesied.  Often, the righteous is pressed on all sides and sometimes may lose certain benefits because of their stance in alignment with God. However, it is important to note that one with God is a majority and in the fullness of time he comes through for you. What is most important in the ‘going through’ is the assurance of God’s presence because it is the seal of the victory up ahead. Is God in your boat?

Prayer:  Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you because you are indeed dependable and reliable. Thank you for battles that you already won, thank you for those that you are fighting and thank you for the victories up ahead. Please give me the grace to trust you completely through the process and help me to enter into my rest in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
