Be intentional in your walk with God
“Then the LORD said to Moses, “This is the land that I promised Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob I would give to their descendants. I have let you see it, but I will not let you go there.” There has never been a prophet in Israel like Moses; the LORD spoke with him face to face. No other prophet has ever done miracles and wonders like those that the LORD sent Moses to perform against the king of Egypt, his officials, and the entire country. No other prophet has been able to do the great and terrifying things that Moses did in the sight of all Israel.” Deuteronomy 34:4, 10-12 GNBUK https://bible.com/bible/296/deu.34.4-12.GNBUK

The Bible asks us in the book of Philippians to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. God is a wonderful, father, savior and many loving things but he is also our Lord. We should follow him in complete obedience. The Bible reading today describes the attributes of the man Moses pointing out that there was no prophet like Moses in Israel. He had an intimate relationship with God so much so that they talk in close proximity like man to man. Yet the excerpt also highlighted how God showed him the final destination of the assignment that he had, the promised land to the patriarchs of Israel but did not allow Moses to enter. This shows that with great privilege comes great responsibility. We must be careful as we grow in our Christian walk to always prioritize God and his instructions must be executed to the letter. God must be honored before the people. Moses fulfilled his assignment of leading Israel to the promised land but missed the actual entry. Be intentional in your walk with God. He is loving but also principled.
