Be merciful
“When thou cuttest down thine harvest in thy field, and hast forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hands.” Deuteronomy 24:19 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/deu.24.19.kjv

You are blessed to be a blessing. God takes care of the underprivileged through the channels of blessings that he has provided in his children. It’s a cycle. This why as you grow and mature as a Christian you should go from ‘give me’ to ‘what can I do to enable the kingdom in my sphere’. The beauty of being a dependable kingdom channel is that even more kingdom resources are channeled towards you and you also benefit from the blessings. It’s a winning formula that requires intentionality. In today’s Bible reading, the Israelites were admonished to always leave something of their harvest for the strangers, fatherless and widows. When you think about your own harvest, what are you doing with it? Are you a channel of blessing? Are you a consistent channel of blessing or an intermittent one? Always remember that God is a rewarder. Whatsoever a person sows, he will reap. It may not be in the exact format but the harvest for sure will come. The Bible tells us that blessed are the merciful for they shall receive mercy.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you for being my source and my sustainer. Thank you for the blessings of the kingdom. Please Lord open my eyes to see the opportunities that you have assigned to me to be a channel for and let the blessing of obedience and partnership be evident continually in my life in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
