Be not weary in well doing
“And it came to pass, as he was telling the king how he had restored a dead body to life, that, behold, the woman, whose son he had restored to life, cried to the king for her house and for her land. And Gehazi said, My Lord, O king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life. And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed unto her a certain officer, saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now.” 2 Kings 8:5-6 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/2ki.8.5-6.kjv

There are some gifts that keep giving. In today’s Bible reading, the woman who was kind enough to play host to Elisha in the days when he used to come into the city and who was blessed with a son as prophecies by Elisha and whose son Elisha raised from the dead was now in need of intervention from the king. After leaving the land on Elisha’s instruction during a famine, she was back and her possessions were taken up. By divine timing, as she was making her request, the king had been asking Gehazi about all the great work that Elisha did. The raising of her son was mentioned and she was there as evidence and on that basis the king asked all that she had to be restored. There are certain kingdom investments or acts that we carry out that grow to be a mighty tree always yielding results. Her act of making her home available to Elisha many years ago became a source of greater miracles to her. May the Lord guide you and me to identify the specific divine encounter and assignment that would create permanent open doors in Jesus name.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for all the opportunities that abound in your kingdom service. Please lead me through the Holy Spirit and your word towards the divine assignment that will open doors of victory permanently for me and my home in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
