Obedience is the pre-condition for the blessings of increase and expansion. Our God is a God of principles. He established the earth on principles and while from time to time, he intervenes in unprecedented ways, for the most part, he abides by his principles. In today’s Bible reading, the Israelites were told that upon settling in into the land of promise, they were to bring the first fruits of their produce to the place that God chose for them. In addition to doing that the expectations were that they were also keeping all the other commandments.  Hence as part of this process, they were to affirm to God that they had indeed kept his commandments to them and hence he should pour down his blessings on them and their land. Often, we have been on a certain mountain of request with God for a while and he is saying to you that you have the pre-requisites with you. Ensure that your obedience is indeed complete so that you don’t stay longer than is required on a kairos step of life because of negligence.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you because you are a good and just God. Lord, I seek to know you more. I seek to know your ways. Please Lord open my eyes to see so that I can do the things that are required to come into the fullness of my promise in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
