Righteous living is a blessing. It yields double blessings, the blessing of harvest and that of peace. The Bible tells us that the sinner runs when no one pursues him. At the same time, the Bible tells us that the righteous shall flourish like a palm tree. And we are also told that the blessings of God adds no sorrow to it. It is blessing with associated insurance policy. The Bible reading today corroborates that by telling us that the righteous will remain in a fruitful field and will have quietness and assurance for ever.  So what does it take to be righteous? Complete obedience to the leading of the Most High God. The Bible tells us that the whole duty of man is to fear God and keep his commandments. Are you righteous? Do you know his commandments? Are you walking in complete obedience to them? The blessings are immeasurable both here and for eternity. Choose wisely.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you because you are a righteous God. Lord I come before you to ask for your mercy for any past acts of disobedience to your leading. Please help me to live righteously and let me experience the blessings and peace that come with living righteously in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
