There are many benefits in the kingdom that are tied to obedience to God’s instructions and a willingness to do his will. In the Bible reading today, we are told of the many benefits that the Israelites would have had if only they had submitted to God’s leading. The benefits of victory, protection, provision and uncommon pleasures were theirs to have, but were forfeited in the place of disobedience. These blessings and more are still available today to those who are willing to submit completely to the Master’s bidding. What would it be? Your ways or his way? He still stands at the door and knocks concerning every decision of our lives? The choice is ours.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the Alpha and Omega, the Almighty God. Thank you for your offer of a life of pleasure in you always. Please Lord, I choose you afresh today, give me the grace and discipline for complete obedience and let my life be the evidence of one in which you are well pleased in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
