The name of the Lord is a strong tower, according to the Bible, and so the righteous run into it and they are saved. The Psalmist recognizes the constant deliverance that he has received of the Lord and so in today’s Bible reading he once again says that in the midst of troubles that he will call on Lord and he is assured of deliverances from the many battles that are raging against him. Are you feeling stressed, overwhelmed, troubled on every side? Call on God and he is an ever present help in times of need who is always looking out for opportunities to show himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are perfect before him.  So the ultimate question really is, What is the state of your heart?

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are my shield and buckler. Father I look up to you and call on you afresh. You have helped me in the past, father please help me again and deliver me from all the troublers of my soul in Jesus name  🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
