Call to Fellowship

“In that time shall the present be brought unto the LORD of hosts of a people scattered and peeled, and from a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden under foot, whose land the rivers have spoiled, to the place of the name of the LORD of hosts, the mount Zion.” Isaiah 18:7 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.18.7.kjv

Call to Fellowship

The Lord's invitation for fellowship is always open. No matter how far gone you are down the path of sin or how much of the punishment of disobedience that you face. This was evident in the story of the prodigal son, who returned home when he came to a realization of the life that he left to go wandering. Yet, despite the challenges his father welcomed him with open arms.  In the Bible reading today, despite being the center of their enemies’ jokes, God says at the end that the people who had been scattered and categorized as trodden down would come to the place of the most High in Zion with a present. It’s God’s will that we return. It is God’s will that we come back home. What are you doing about that call back to his place of fellowship today?

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are plenteous in mercy and a father to us your children. Please Lord, I come to you afresh. Forgive all my wanderings, restore me to the place of fellowship with you and dominion over life’s circumstances in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
