Choose the Peace of God
โAcquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: Thereby good shall come unto thee. Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, And lay up his words in thine heart. If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, Thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles. Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, And thou shalt pay thy vows. Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: And the light shall shine upon thy ways. When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, there is lifting up; And he shall save the humble person.โ Job 22:21-23, 27-29 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/job.22.21-29.kjv

The knowledge of the Lord brings peace. In a world so filled with all manners of challenges and distractions, there is a constant search for rest and peace. In the Bible reading today, we are told that when we learn about the Lord and put his words in our hearts then we put away iniquity from us, we are then assured of answers to our prayers and light from God to guide our paths. Because we are then guided by God, it does not matter how others are being cast down, we are singled out for lifting. So, in essence the presence and pleasure of God is our password for thriving regardless all that is going on around. Seek God today and find peace.
