Cling to God

“Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens. Behold, as the eyes of servants Look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; So our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, Until that he have mercy upon us.” Psalm 123:1-2 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.123.1-2.kjv

Cling to God

The Bible tells us that those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion that cannot be moved. Waiting on God is an anchor and a fuel for achieving purpose. In the Bible reading today, the psalmist recognizes the importance of waiting and looking upon God for mercy. In a world so filled with many uncertainties and challenges, it is important that as Children of God that we use our anchor that hold still in the most turbulent times.  So the question tor you today is: Where is the source of your hope and strength? Is it in your achievement, capabilities or even in men that God has used to help in the past? The arms of men cannot be trusted to hold through all phases of life. Trust God completely and lean on his promises. He will come through for his own.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the all-knowing, all-powerful God. Father, I look to you afresh and I wait on you. Guide and direct my life and be an anchor for me always in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
