Commit to your Relationship with God
”I am a stranger and a sojourner with you: give me a possession of a buryingplace with you, that I may bury my dead out of my sight. And the children of Heth answered Abraham, saying unto him, Hear us, my Lord: thou art a mighty prince among us: in the choice of our sepulchres bury thy dead; none of us shall withhold from thee his sepulchre, but that thou mayest bury thy dead.“ Genesis 23:4-6 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/gen.23.4-6.kjv

The Bible tells us in the book of Isaiah that when God glorifies and endows you, that you will call on nations that know you not and they will come running to you. When the glory of God is upon you, he gives you a voice where you will otherwise not have had a voice. We see many examples of this in the Bible - Joseph who became prime minister, Daniel who became a leader in the land of his captivity. Today’s Bible reading is another example in the instance of Father Abraham who reached out to the people of the land where he lived to get land to bury his wife Sarah. He acknowledged the fact that he was a stranger and sojourner with them. However, they responded with the truth based on how God had beautified him and exalted him before them. He was considered a Lord and mighty prince amongst them and they were willing to give him the choicest of their lands to use. One with God is a mighty nation. This is why we must invest in our relationships and connection with God. Recall that if a man’s way pleases God, even his enemies will be at peace with him according to the Bible. Please God and rest assured that everything else will be settled.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you own the cattle on the thousand hills. Thank you because silver and gold belong to you. Father, I look to you afresh. Please give me the grace to follow your leading completely and let the results be evident in everything around me. Let the world acknowledge your Lordship through me in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
