God’s expectation in the promise is clear. Fear, Love and Obedience. In the Bible reading today, Moses was reminding Israel of God’s expectation. The fear of the Lord, the Bible tells us, is the beginning of Wisdom and we are told that Wisdom is indeed profitable to direct. In a land unknown, the most important compass for navigation is based on the one who knows the end from the beginning - the master craftsman of the universe. God also expects our absolute love. The one who you love, you want to spend time with and you avoid things that hurt them. Lastly walking in the ways as directed is critical.  We have been promised instructions through the inspiration of the HolySpirit but success is only guaranteed when you follow completely. So, are you feeling overwhelmed by your promised land, unsure of how to navigate it all. Well, the Bible tells us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and to lean not on our own understanding. As long as we acknowledge God, he will direct our path.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you for always being there for us through the highs and the lows. The thick and the thin. Please Lord, I receive a new grace for obedience. Please establish me in the promised land 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
