Consecrated and separated for glory

“And thou shalt set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them for an offering unto the Lord. Thus shalt thou separate the Levites from among the children of Israel: and the Levites shall be mine. And after that shall the Levites go in to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt cleanse them, and offer them for an offering.” Numbers 8:13-15 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/num.8.13-15.kjv

Consecrated and separated for glory

There is separation and sanctification before service unto the Lord. In the chapter of the Bible reading today, we are told that God had chosen the Levites unto himself as a replacement for all the firstborns in Isreal. They were already chosen by God yet there was still a need of cleansing and a separation before they were able to go into full service. Are you called of God, have you received various confirmations of the assignment of God in your life. Congratulations. But to enter into the fullness of the calling and the associated glory, you must first be concentrated and separated so that you don’t offer strange fire and service to the Lord. The calling does not override the process. It is the beginning of the process. It may be accelerated if the required milestones in God’s books are met. However it is important to note that the sanctification is a preservation in the course of the service. Put in the work today through the word and the HolySpirit and be on the journey to the glory. The Bible says “sanctify them by your word, your word is truth” John 17:17.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your love and being mindful of me. Thank you for your assignment for me. Please Lord guide me through your word and the Holy Spirit so that I don’t run faster than your plans. Help me to go through the journey to the glory in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
