Consecrating the beginning to redeem the rest

โ€œAnd I, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn that openeth the matrix among the children of Israel: therefore the Levites shall be mine; Because all the firstborn are mine; for on the day that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I hallowed unto me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and beast: mine shall they be: I am the Lord. Number the children of Levi after the house of their fathers, by their families: every male from a month old and upward shalt thou number them.โ€ Numbers 3:12-13, 15 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/num.3.12-15.kjv

Consecrating the beginning to redeem the rest

Consecrated for his service? In the Bible reading today, the Lord identified a special group of people that were consecrated to the service of his temple and worship. And while the rest of Isreal were counted based on men of war that were twenty years and older, these ones where counted from a month old. They were redemption for the first borns and were relevant to God from infancy. So while others were waiting to be grown men of war to be relevant, these ones were already in active service as children because they were consecrated to God. So question is: Have you consecrated your little beginnings and early days to God as a redemption for the rest?

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for beginnings. I consecrate my beginnings to you. Please accept me and use my entire life, day, month and year to your glory๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ
