Continually Seek His Face

”And Joseph said unto his father, Not so, my father: for this is the firstborn; put thy right hand upon his head. And his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations.“ Genesis 48:18-19 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/gen.48.18-19.kjv

Continually Seek His Face

God’s ways are not our ways and his thoughts are not our thoughts. The Bible tells us that he will show mercy to whom he will show mercy and show compassion to whom he will show compassion. He holds times and seasons in his hands and so he is able to reverse the order of men to do as he pleases. We see yet another example in the Bible reading today where Jacob was about to die and was blessing the two sons of Joseph.  Whereas Joseph had put them in the order to have the right hand on the older son, Jacob despite his poor sight but guided by the spirit of God reversed the order in praying for them. When Joseph pointed out this supposed mistake, Jacob reiterated the order. God is able to make the impossible possible to establish his divine ordinance. Hence, we must continue to seek his face and ask for his mercy because one with God is always a majority.

Prayer: Dear God, thank you because you are the all-knowing God who knows the end from the very beginning. Please Lord, I cry to you. Please have mercy on me!!! Let your glory show forth in my life. Let your blessing in me and through me make the difference in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
