Deliverance from the consequences of unknown errors and sins is a divine partnership. The Bible tells us that in the time of ignorance God winked at us. However, when you receive warnings around those actions, what do you do with the warnings?  This is because even though he winked earlier he commands all to repent because judgement is coming and your motives may not count. In today’s Bible reading, King Abimelech committed an innocent error.  He took Sarah, Abraham’s wife to be his wife because he was told that she was his sister. God came to him in a dream and told him that he was a dead man because of the abomination that he done. Well he pleaded his innocence and God acknowledged it saying that was why he had been held back from committing the ultimate error. However, if he did not retrace his steps immediately his entire family would be doomed.  Thankfully, he obeyed but it’s interesting to know that even at that time he had already started getting the subtle impact of the action because the Bible records that his wives’ wombs had become tied up until Abraham prayed for him. So what ‘innocent error’ is God warning you about today? Take the right step in partnership with God for a complete restoration and to avoid impending danger. He is slow to anger but he is a God of principles.  There is a subtle but powerful implication of that. 

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are a merciful God and your mercies endure for ever. Please Lord thank you for your mercy that has been prevailing over judgment in any areas of error. Please Lord, we come before asking for your grace to recognize these errors and to come to you in repentance before it’s too late. Please help me by your mercy and deliver me in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
