Our God is an ever present help in times of needs. The arms of men will fail at some point but we can trust God to be our help at all times. In the Bible reading today, the word of God was sent to the king of Judah through Jeremiah regarding the army of Egypt that had helped them against the arm of the Chaldeans earlier. The king was told that the army would return back to their own land and after that their enemies would return. So the question today is : Where do you put your trust? In God or in man or things? Choose wisely.
