Destiny appointments

“And Ruth said, Entreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the Lord do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.” Ruth 1:16-17 KJV https://www.bible.com/1/rut.1.16-17.kjv

Destiny appointments

There are certain destiny appointments and associations that qualify the unqualified… Sometimes it may be uncomfortable in the beginning but the end thereof is uncommon grace and glory unlimited. In today’s reading, after all the issues that had befallen Naomi, she was returning home from Moab and wanted her daughters in law to stay back in Moab to have a ‘better’ life. However, Ruth was committed to this relationship. She was sold out in her heart and was ready to go wherever Naomi was going. Not because of a promise of a better life at that instance but it was a destiny appointment. Because of that decision and relationship, more divine encounters were birthed and she (a stranger) is named in the lineage of the Lord Jesus Christ. A whole book was dedicated to her journey in the book of life and so many generations after, she is still not forgotten. May we not miss our divine appointments by misjudging our current/initial circumstance.

Prayer: Dear Lord, I know that your thoughts towards me are to give me a hope and a future. Help me to key into your divine arrangement for me even when it does not make sense to my physical eye or heart. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
