Distinguishing Wisdom

“The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned. The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back. Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.” Isaiah 50:4-5, 10 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.50.10.kjv

Distinguishing Wisdom

The Bible tells us that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. This is also corroborated elsewhere in the Bible that there is a spirit in man and the inspiration of the Almighty gives him understanding. Hence, obeying God and walking in his will opens up tremendous opportunities for insights as he reveals the secrets that are hid from others to you. In the Bible reading today, Prophet Isaiah acknowledged that God had given him the mouth and ear of the learned.  He knows what to say in season. Such is a life that is guided by God. The wisdom that he provides sets you above your peers because you feed directly from the only wise God. That is why the concluding part of the text reassures anyone that obeys God and walks in his ways to hold on because light comes that will overcome any immediate darkness experienced.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the only wise God and you daily load us with your benefits. I look to you afresh today. Please teach me, lead me and guide me so that I can blossom from the blessings that come from a divinely-guided life in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
