The Bible tells us that it’s the blessings of the Lord that makes one rich without adding sorrow to it. This is why the Lord describes some of the blessings of total obedience to him in the book of Deuteronomy 28 to include the blessing at the source, blessing of the gathering (your basket) and blessing of the storage point (your storehouse). Each one of this locations represents a potential leak point in your blessings except for the mercy of God.  So it’s not just enough to eat, as seen in the Bible reading today. Without the blessing of God, the eating does not yield enough to satisfy. So are you looking for true blessings that meets your needs and those of others that God has sent you to, and also lasts for generations? Then trust God and do his will and he will give a blessing and increase that you will not have enough room to contain. 

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because the cattle on the thousand hills are yours. Thank you because you are the God that provides and preserves the blessing. Please Lord as I seek your face, please teach me your ways and the the paths to lasting blessings in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
