The Lord requires you to come. It is a willing commitment to a higher calling. Very often we see in the Bible where God is asking us to come to him for fellowship, for help, for restoration and all but you must play a part. For example, he says come let us reason together. The Bible also tells us in the book of revelation that the Spirit and the Bride says come. The one who is thirsty must come to the river of life that is free. The price for salvation and the benefits that we seek have been paid for.  All we need to do is to take the step of faith. The Bible reading today talks about the one who has no money asking them to come and buy and eat. The price God needs from us is the commitment to go on the journey with him, to trust him with all we have, and to obey him completely. If he must unlock all that he has in store for you, he needs you to be commited to the sacrifice. Are you willing? A cheque uncashed remains a promise.  Take the action today to commit to a closer walk with God. The benefits are tremendous.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for the constant call to fellowship. Thank you for being my Lord and king. Thank you for the treasures of life that abound.
