Dwelling in the secret place

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.” Psalm 91:1-2, 9-10, 14 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.91.1-14.kjv

Dwelling in the secret place

Are you dwelling in the secret place or living on the edge? Is fellowship with God a pastime or is that your habitation where you operate from? The Bible reading today tells us that those who dwell in the secret place of the Almighty will abide under the shadow of the Almighty. The secret place is not something you stumble on. There is intentionality involved to find the place much less dwelling in it. Given the tremendous benefits of the secret place and making the most High out habitation, it’s a wonder that a lot of Christians still choose to live on the edge with no clear delineation between their past lives of sin and time in the presence. It’s no wonder then that such people fall off at the slightest wind or adversity. Like a singer said “Just enough won’t be enough” especially in a life so full of unknowns. The Lord promises to set on high those who have known his name. The sustained path to the true pinnacle of life is through the revelational knowledge of God which can only be discovered in the place of abiding and fellowship. Therein are the hidden riches and the treasures, which others are blinded to, revealed to his beloved (Isaiah 45:3). Are you giving just enough while maintaining a dual citizenship with the world. It’s a dangerous place to be in. Step into the coverage that comes from an abiding in the secret place of the creator of life, the heavens and the earth… Glory!!!!!

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your word and the reminder of a call to a life of fellowship and relationship. Please Lord help my walk with you to be better and brighter. I receive the insights in your presence and a hunger for more. Reveal yourself to me and Lord grant me the benefits that comes from a life of consecration and dedication to the kingdom of light 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
