Exalt God above problems

”And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright. And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?“ Genesis 25:31-32 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/gen.25.32.kjv

Exalt God above problems

Be careful about your trade-offs. Is what you are holding really not worth much or you just haven’t realized the potential that it carries? Is that thing that you are needing so desperately worth that much? Is your situation really as dare as it appears? Perspectives are very important in the trade-off decisions that we make in life. In the Bible reading today, Esau made a grave error in judgement because of a faulty perspective to the three critical questions that I asked above. He scaled up his situation - he was hungry not really going to die.  He underestimated what he carried - he traded off his entire future over a pot of pottage. The Bible recorded that he despised his birthright. Lastly, he scaled up the pot of pottage as the solution of his problem so much so that he was willing to give anything for it. When faced with challenges, watch your perspectives and more importantly ask God who knows the end from the beginning for the light of clarity of his word so that we don’t make costly mistakes based on our human understanding of the present situation.  Don’t scale up your problems. Show your problems how big your God is. He always come through for his own.

Prayer:  Dear Lord, thank you because you are the all-knowing God who is passionate about the details of my life. I look to you afresh for the light of clarity and the spirit of discernment to make the right choices in the decisions of my life in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
