Fear God and worship Him
“And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.” Revelation 14:6-7 KJV https://www.bible.com/1/rev.14.6-7.kjv
Our commandments as inhabitants of the earth and creatures of the master potter is to Fear God, glorify him and worship him. Our God is multi-faceted - he is a loving father and also a consuming father. When we fear him, we live a life of holiness and righteousness - obeying his commands and in so doing our life become a reflection of his entirety bringing glory to him. When we worship him in our hearts and with the fruits of our lips then we are continually refreshed in his presence. As we celebrate the death and resurrection of the son of God who was given as a token to redeem us to the father and thus save us from his wrath and eternal damnation, let’s reflect on how well our lives reflect the fear of God, his glory and worship.
Prayer: Dear God, thank you for being mindful of me and sending your son to die for my sins. Help me to continually bring glory to you 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
