For such a time like this
“Thus saith the LORD; Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place. But if ye will not hear these words, I swear by myself, saith the LORD, that this house shall become a desolation.” Jeremiah 22:3, 5 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/jer.22.3-5.kjv

Empowered for a purpose. When the Jews were going to be killed as a result of Haman’s evil machinations and Esther was explaining to Modecai how challenging it was to get the king’s attention without being summoned , Modecai made a profound statement asking her if maybe the whole purpose of her being queen was for such a time and intervention. In the Bible reading today, a message was sent to the king of Judah on God’s expectations regarding judgement to deliver the oppressed and prevent violence to the fatherless, strangers and innocent. That was going to be the key to continued kingship else the throne would be taken away and the land made a desolation. So what position has God put you into? Do you know how it aligns with God’s kingdom agenda? If not, seek to know so that you can meet heaven’s expectation of ‘a time like this’. May we not fail God.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are a God of intentionality. You know the end from the beginning and there is confusion. Help me Lord to know where I fit into your plans and please Lord give me the boldness to work with you to establish your divine will for that place of assignment in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
