Light and sight are very important physically and spiritually. In the Bible reading today, when God sent the men to Sodom and Gomorrah to destroy the land and Lot had taken them in as strangers in the area, the people of the land where trying to pull down Lot’s door to get to them. The men pulled Lot into the house and caused a blindness to come on the people. The key point here is that after that point, even though the door was there and they were in the right place, they could not see their way to effectively open the door.  Often in life, there are many opportunities covered in a form of darkness because we are unable to perceive them without the light of God. Hence it is important that we seek God’s light and clarity always because his word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Blessed and victorious is the one who is led by God. Divine clarity is critical to overcome the barriers to our breakthrough and to thrive in the opportunities that exists on our path. 

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you because you are the father of light in whom there is no shadow of turning. Please Lord shine your light on my path and those of my loved ones. Let the clarity in your word and presence open uncommon doors of opportunities in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
