The Bible tells us that there is a spirit in man, the inspiration of the almighty gives him understanding. One of the greatest gifts that a believer has is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. He not only makes intercessions on our behalf when we don’t know what we should even be praying about. He also counsels us and teaches us what to do and say. In the Bible reading today, Jesus was commissioning his disciples for evangelism. He warned them ahead of some of the tough situations that they may be put in and how they would be dragged before leaders.  However, the assurance that they have is that they would know what to say in the instance because the spirit of God inside them will speak on their behalf. Clearly, it would be a gross disservice to go through life without our compass or to put the compass on mute where we never even hear or are too distracted to action the insights of the Holy Spirit. What is your connection like today? Pray to God and commit to restoring that connection because the Holy Spirit in you, speaking to you, through you and for you is a priceless gift. 

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you have given us all things that pertain to live and godliness. Please Lord, teach me your ways, show me the path of life and help me to stay connected to the spirit of God inside of me. Let the wisdom of the Holy Spirit in me be evident in my utterances always to your glory in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
