The choice of who we place our trust in has implications for the quality of the results that come out of  the trust. The Psalmist in the Bible reading today shares his experience by confirming that the surest way to be blessed is to put one’s trust in God and not in any other avenue. God is mindful of his own and his thoughts are with them always even when the circumstances around us may suggest otherwise. He always leaves an outlet for thanks. For instance, while he allowed the Devil to torment Job, he had given express orders for Job’s life not to be touched. God cares about all aspects of our lives. However, he will not share his glory with anyone.  So question for you today is: Are you trusting completely in God and his saving grace? If yes, then congratulations because he is the all-sufficient one and will meet all your needs. If the answer is no, then repent and turn to him because the arm of men will always fail.
