God comes through regardless

“And they said unto them, The Lord look upon you, and judge; because ye have made our savour to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us. And Moses returned unto the Lord, and said, Lord, wherefore hast thou so evil entreated this people? why is it that thou hast sent me?” Exodus 5:21-22 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/exo.5.21-22.kjv

God comes through regardless

When God sends you on an assignment, it does not mean that there will not be challenges but God’s will will be done ultimately. After all the previous hesitations, Moses had met with the displeasure of the Isrealites due to the impact of his first outing with Pharaoh. He was now already getting cold feet and asking why God had sent him. However he forgot that God already told him earlier that Pharaoh will not let the Isrealites go without a strong hand (Exodus 3:19). So it was all part of the script. Pharaoh had said he did not know God and could not take instructions from someone he did not know. Well, the subsequent event were about to reveal who God was to Him and his cohorts to the extent that ultimately the Egyptians would be excited to just see the Isrealites leave. So does your initial step on your assignment look so daunting or even somewhat disappointing? If you are sure who sent you on that assignment - the master chess player and craftsman of the universe, the Almighty God, then keep at it. It will end in praise. Glory!!!!

Prayer: Dear God, please give me the grace to stay focused on you and be obedient in the path ahead towards the fulfillment of your glory in me and through me. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
