God is a just God and demands the same of us. The Bible tells us in many instances that God hates those who pervert justice. In today’s Bible reading, the Israelites were receiving commandments on how to deal with children of their wives. In this instance, an example was given of the first born child being from the unloved wife with the younger child being from the favored wife. The guidance is to give to the child what the rights of the first born dictates regardless of whether or not he is the beloved child.  It is therefore important that at all times we work in fairness and justice because God demands it of us. In fact, he fights on behalf of the oppressed. You don’t want to be on God’s war path. It is a recipe for destruction. 

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are a faithful, merciful and just God. Thank you because there is no shadow of turning in you. Please Lord, teach me your ways. Help me to be more like you in justice and fairness always in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
