Light is powerful. The Bible tells us that one of the first creation of God was light to bring clarity into the state of the bundled, formless and void world. The Bible tells us also that in the word of God is life and light of men and it shines and darkness cannot comprehend it and this is why the psalmist says that God’s word is a lamp to his feet and a light to his path. The first victory over darkness is light. The ability to see recreates the surrounding around us and then provides impetus for the next course of action.  This is why the devil is really vested in clouding the mind eyes of men because without a true appreciation of your situation then there is no sense of urgency or the direction out of such situations. Hence, when someone comes to his senses and receives a light bulb they wonder what has been going on or how they could have made the decisions that they did in the past. Therefore it is important that we look to God constantly for light and clarity that comes from a deep relationship with the author of life and light.  May the light of of God guide our paths into victory and life in Jesus name.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are light and light consistently overcomes darkness. Please Lord, I look to you afresh. Let the light of your word and presence guide my steps and grant me vision for the path ahead. Open my eyes to see that which is hidden from others so that I can bask in the glory of a divinely guided life in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
