God is able
“And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites. And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?” Judges 6:13-14 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/jdg.6.13-14.kjv

There are various kinds of oppression that can affect a people or nation. Some incapacitate you and do not allow you to work for yourself but keep you In servitude. There are others who wait for you to complete your sowing and harvesting and then crush and steal the harvest amounting to wasted effort. This was the situation that Israel found herself in today’s Bible reading where all the reward of their labor were crushed and stolen by the Midianites. The good news however is that God is more than able to deliver his people from any type of opression. In the case of the Israelites, salvation was to come through Gideon who heaven tagged as a mighty man of valor even though he did not see himself as such. Are you going through any form of challenge? Seek God’s face earnestly in complete surrender. He is able to come through for you in the most uncommon way. Leverage your heavenly resource today.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the king of glory, the defender of the opressed. I come before you concerning the pressing matters of my heart. Please Lord look upon me with mercy and deliver me from every opression in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
