God is faithful to His Promises
“And moreover in time past, even when Saul was king, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the Lord thy God said unto thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be ruler over my people Israel. Therefore came all the elders of Israel to the king to Hebron; and David made a covenant with them in Hebron before the Lord; and they anointed David king over Israel, according to the word of the Lord by Samuel.” 1 Chronicles 11:2-3 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/1ch.11.2-3.kjv

God makes all things beautiful in its time. The vision shall come to pass if we wait for it. In the Bible reading today, the Israelites had come to enthrone David so many years and encounters after the promise was made to David. It was interesting to hear the Israelites acknowledge David’s relevance to Israel even when Saul was alive. So you wonder why it took so long. There are times when we are living with a promise and yet the immediate timeline or situations around us suggest the contrary. It is important that we hold fast to that which God had said because in the fullness of time we will receive it if we don’t waver.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness and your promises over my life. Thank you for being my source and sustainer. Father, I depend on you, please help me and bring me into the fullness of your promises in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
