God is intentional about His choices

“And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying, Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; For he hath visited and redeemed his people, And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: For thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways; To give knowledge of salvation unto his people By the remission of their sins,” Luke 1:67-68, 76-77 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/luk.1.67-77.kjv

God is intentional about His choices

God is not an author of confusion. He is an intentional God and gives his children assignments aligned with his broader purpose to the world. In today’s Bible reading, after the birth of John the Baptist, his father eventually regained his speech after being dumb since he received the promise of the birth from an angel. However, the spirit of the Lord came upon him and he prophesied about the various blessings that was coming to Israel.  What was profound, however,is the fact that he noted that John the Baptist was to go before the face of the Lord to prepare his way. That was his assignment and fulfillment comes from doing exactly what God wants you to do and being where he wants you to be. He wasn’t the savior but was the forerunner and that was clear from his birth. So, questions for you are: “Do you recognize your purpose?” “Are you where you should be doing what you should be doing?” If you are unsure then seek the face of the creator, he has the answers that will unlock true fulfillment for you.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the intentional creator of the universe. Thank you for choosing me for your kingdom assignment. Please open my eyes to see where you want me to be and what you want me to do. Please give me the grace and discipline to do exactly what you will have me do. Lord, let the benefit of obedience be evident for all to see in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
