God’s measure of time is not like ours as human beings!!! Have you ever had a day that started out so normal and one even in the day became a life transforming event and at the end of the day you wondered “I did not see that coming”.... A song writer sang “... I don’t know how but he did it...”. A day is like a thousand years with God. Every minute, second and microsecond is an opportunity for God to still move. In the same vein, a thousand years is like a day with God. You may have gone through things that have gone on for years and then in one day, the intervention of God wipes away all the years of pain and challenges and you even struggle to remember what the pain was like.. God is not slack towards his promises..... On the flip side though he is also long suffering and seeking all men to come to repentance... Have you been living on the opposite side of God’s pleasure, dwelling in sin, it is a call to repentance because in the same analogy of his good intervention.... He is also able to move in judgment swiftly.... but his Shepherd nature is saying.... “Change your ways, turn towards me and escape the judgment”. I am certain we have heard of versions of stories where the one day that some one chose to depart from a gang of bad friends was the day something happened to the gang that may have meant the end for that individual....Be a beneficiary of the God’s good intervention today.
