God judges the heart
“And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the Lord searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.” 1 Chronicles 28:9 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/1ch.28.9.kjv

The Bible tells us that God seeks true worshippers who will worship in spirit and in truth. We see also in the Bible reading today that David handed a critical lesson to his son Solomon about the secrets of retaining kingdom relevance for generations yet unborn. It is having the right mindset because God moves beyond the physical appearances and the charades of men to look into the heart. The litmus test of your service to God is the heart behind it. Recall that the Bible recorded Amaziah who did what was right before God but without the right heart. So, it’s not enough to have an appearance of service, but it must come from a willing heart and true worship. Remember that the foundation of the Lord stands sure and he knows those that are his. Will he recognize you?
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for always being there for me. Thank you for your instructions always. Please Lord, I dedicate my heart to you afresh, please accept me and my instrument of service and let the blessings come to me 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
