God knows those that are his
“the which Jeremiah the prophet spake unto all the people of Judah, and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, even unto this day, that is the three and twentieth year, the word of the LORD hath come unto me, and I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye have not hearkened.” Jeremiah 25:2-3 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/jer.25.2-3.kjv

The day of the Lord will arrive sooner or later. What would your stand be at the arrival of the King of Glory? We have been hearing the message of his coming for a long time and some have become weary over time. The Bible tells us that as it was in the days of Noah where the people were carried away with their frivolities until the flood was at at their door step, so shall the coming of the Son of Man be. Imagine how long it took to build the ark that was to be home for every animal on earth? And yet the people missed the signal, not because their physical eyes did not see but because their mind eyes could not comprehend it. In the Bible reading today, for 10 years, Jeremiah had been warning the people about the consequences of their sins and how the day of judgement from the Lord was coming and they did not change their wicked ways. So, are you being like those who ignore God’s instructions, warnings and signs? Believe it or not, God’s foundations stands sure and he knows those who are his. He will preserve them in the days of trouble. Step into ‘Noah’s ark’ while there is still time.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are a long suffering God and plenteous in mercies. Please Lord, I repent of every past act of disobedience. Please help me and give me the will and boldness to follow your instructions that I may be preserved in the times of trouble in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
