God needs your Partnership
“Behold, the LORD thy God hath set the land before thee: go up and possess it, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath said unto thee; fear not, neither be discouraged. Then I said unto you, Dread not, neither be afraid of them. The LORD your God which goeth before you, he shall fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes; and in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that the LORD thy God bare thee, as a man doth bear his son, in all the way that ye went, until ye came into this place.” Deuteronomy 1:21, 29-31 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/deu.1.21-31.kjv

The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever more. Our God reigns from Eternity past to Eternity future and so he knows the end from the beginning. Hence, if God has that much credibility, we should rest assured that he is more than able to tackle the most challenging situations that we may face. In today’s Bible reading, Moses was narrating the journey of the Israelites in the wilderness back to them as they were eventually about to enter the promised land. The excerpts from the verse highlights some critical lessons. First, while God had set the land before them, they still had to go in and possess it. As long as they were willing to go, they had the backing of God who had shown up for them in many instances in the past. However, in the case of the Israelites earlier in the journey they did not move forward because they were paralyzed by fear and it cost them decades in the wilderness. So the key reminder is that we are blessed to have the all-sufficient unchangeable God in our corner. However, we need to partner with him to unlock the capacity for our specific challenges. Are you willing?
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the all sufficient God. Lord please help my faith to grow so that I can partner with you on the big steps that you are calling me upward into. Please let my life thrive in the fullness of the glory that is available to me in the other side of my fears in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
