God still restores!!!! The Bible tells us that his anger lasts for a moment but that his mercies and favour are forever. That is why when things go bad as a result of punishment for sin, God still leaves and out. He says if his people humble themselves and pray and seek his face and turn from their wicked ways, that he will heal their land.  The danger however with living on the edge and hoping for God’s mercy to prevail over judgement is that you may be in the number of those impacted by the land that is sick. God restores the land, God restores the remnant, but that suggests also that some people are the victims of the judgement. In the Bible reading today, God talks about restoring those that have been captive but mentioned in a preceding verse that it is the remnants that will remain.  So are you qualified to be preserved in the midst of judgement on the land such that you emerge on the other side as a saved remnant? God’s foundation remains sure. He knows those that are his. Check your status today. 

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your mercies that prevails over judgement. Thank you for the pathway that you provide out of destruction into restoration. Lord, I look to you today, please purge me of any blemish that could soil my divine branding for you. Let me be preserved at all times by your mercy in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
