There are friends and close family contacts that we have spent so much time with to the extent that if they called out your name or were speaking in a noisy environment you can almost with a 100% certainty recognize the voice or perceive their scent without turning. Likewise there have been stories told of people who tried to kidnap children by luring them with supposed messages from their parents but which such children knew with certainty that it could not be from their parents... Because they know how their parents communicate or operate... A critical ingredient for maturity into the fullness of measure of Christ is the knowledge of the Son of God. When we know him and his ways then we cannot be tossed to and fro by any new wave of doctrine because we know him and have faith in his saving grace and principles and so we Do his bidding.
