Grow into maturity

“Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” Hebrews 5:8-9, 14 KJV https://www.bible.com/1/heb.5.8-9,14.kjv

Grow into maturity

If you have a dozen cars, there is no amount of love you have for your toddler son and daughter that would allow you put such a child in the drivers seat to drive any of the vehicles. Instead, because you love such a child you will ensure that even with coming of age such a child learns how to drive appropriately and in a disciplined manner so that the child can last long enough to enjoy all the other benefits that accrue to them. In another analogy, think about children who were not appropriately disciplined and went on to ruin multi-million empires they inherited for lack of discipline. We often read about and hear of all the great benefits that accrue to children of God and wonder “if my father owns the cattle on the thousand hills, then why am I going through the things I go through”. Remember, that the trial of your faith builds character. We learn in layers upon layers and we also learn by doing like a child that builds the confidence of walking over time learning to avoid obstacles. In all your happenings, look out for God’s lessons in character

Prayer: Dear Lord, please open my eyes to see the lessons in my current situation and help me by your spirit to attain unto the maturity that I am being called into in you🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
