Guard your treasures
“And Hezekiah was glad of them, and shewed them the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not.” Isaiah 39:2 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.39.2.kjv

Who do you share your treasures with? The Bible tells us not to cast our pearls before pigs because they will trample on it. In the Bible reading today, being excited at having been healed from his near-death sickness, Hezekiah received visitors from the king of Babylon and he showed off the entirety of his palace and treasures to them. The Lord then sent the prophet Isaiah to him to let him know that a time was coming when everything he had will be taken over by the king of Babylon and even his sons taken captive. One moment of indiscretion was going to have dire consequences. Some of us as Christians have shared our God-given dreams and visions with those who had no business with them. Some of us have opened up the treasures of our heart to all sorts of contents when the Bible warns to guard our hearts with all diligence because out of it proceeds the issues of life. Be careful of who you share your treasures with.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the all-knowing God. Please Lord open my eyes to see, open my heart to know so that I will not walk into the path of the deadly and ungodly. Keep me Lord from wolves in sheep clothing in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
