With God, it’s the heart first before the act. He sees the deepest thoughts and intents of our hearts and that represents the litmus test for whether our actions will be accepted or otherwise. I am always humbled about the King in the Bible that did all the right things and yet it did not count for him because he did it with the wrong heart. So it’s not about acting right, it is about living right by God’s standards.  The Bible reading today corroborates this by saying that the sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination before God. So, it does not matter how much effort has gone into it, the heart already disqualifies it. The Lord answers the prayers of the righteous and he loves those that follow him. So, check the status of your heart today. It is an indication of God’s response to your service.

Please Lord, purify my heart so that I can please you always in the name of Jesus. Let my thoughts and actions be acceptable unto you in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
