He demands your obedience
“And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:” Leviticus 23:9-10 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/lev.23.9-10.kjv

God is not a man that he should lie nor the son of man that he should repent. Has he said it, shall he not do it? Has he promised , shall he not make it good? This is the confidence that the word of God provides to us about the efficacy of the promises and pronouncements of our God. He is true to his words and despite what physical indices may suggest at any given time, his promises stand firm. However, we must remain obedient to his leading to come into the fullness of the promise. In today’s Bible reading, God was speaking to Moses about some of the feasts and offerings expected of the Israelites and the seasons of reverence through rest on the sabbath. In the excerpted text, he tells Moses to speak to the Israelites that ‘when they enter into the promised land’. It was not a conditional statement, it had the assurance of heaven that they will surely enter so much so that they were given tons of instruction to prepare their minds ahead about the expectations of living in the land of promise. Has God promised you? Trust him. He is the same God yesterday, today and forevermore. When he says it, it is done, but you must follow the terms to come into full instances of the promise.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are indeed a dependable and reliable God. The omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent God. Lord thank you for your promises and assurance. Help me Lord to stay focused on you always as you lead me into the promise. Let me not be distracted in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
