He is no respecter of persons
“Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof. And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him.” Isaiah 24:1-2 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.24.1-2.kjv

The book of Acts chapter 10 records an occasion in which Peter acknowledged that God is no respecter of persons but accepts the nations that fear him and do what is right. In the same way, when God metes out judgement, he does not respect positions or personalities as seen in today’s Bible reading that talks about a time of judgement for the world that cuts across all status. This is why it is important to prioritize your heavenly status over your earthly positions like the Bible tells us to lay up our treasures in heaven where no moth or rust affects it. What is heaven’s record of you?
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. Please Lord I come before you to lay all my accomplishment and accolades at your feet. Help me to grow my heavenly treasures so that you would always look upon me with pleasure as a child in whom you are well pleased 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
