He never falters

“We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, What work thou didst in their days, in the times of old. How thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them; How thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out. For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, Neither did their own arm save them: But thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, Because thou hadst a favour unto them.” Psalm 44:1-3 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.44.1-3.kjv

He never falters

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and always. What he has done in the past, he is able to do again. He still delivers but sometimes our sin hampers God’s move in our lives as the Bible tells us that his arms are not too short to save but our sins create a wedge. The psalmist in the Bible reading speaks to how their fathers have told them of the mighty deliverances from God. However,at that point in time, he was wondering why God is not replicating it. As Christians we often go through challenges that make us wonder why the great promises in the word of God appear to be eluding us.  The first port of call is to check if we are living in complete obedience to the will of God and that we are not entertaining sin in our lives. If that is dealt with then trust God, he fails not, he is always on time. He has done it before and he will do it again.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you for the assurances that we have in your word. Father, as I look to you afresh, please come through for me with deliverance like the days of old 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
